The Corpus Christi Area
Conveniently located four miles from the airport, we’re seven miles from the Corpus Christi Beach and 15 miles from Padre Island Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. While many fortunate vacationers head for nearby glorious stretches of beach, business travelers typically call on refineries and oil-related business in the area. Either way, what you’re looking for isn’t far from our front door. Parking is free, Wi-Fi is free, and the hearty and healthy free Bright Side Breakfast® is served daily by our friendly staff. At the close of a busy day, relax in our outdoor swimming pool or enjoy a workout in the fitness center. Our hotel is completely smoke-free, and we do welcome those traveling with pets.
The beach is our backyard playground in this corner of South Texas. Some call this the only city in Texas where surfers and cowboys live side by side. We enjoy sharing the beauty of our destination with visitors. The pretty beaches of Corpus Christi are all free to the public, so bring your swimsuit and sunscreen along. The Museum of Science and History contains replicas of Spanish vessels from the days of explorers and colonization. A ferry provides transportation to North Beach where the USS Lexington carrier, now a museum, is anchored. Texas State Aquarium, a campus of Texas A&M, Art Museum of South Texas, Naval Base, Buccaneer Stadium, Delmar College are all right here in Corpus Christi, the nation’s fourth largest port.
